Giants Skittles Bowl

Description

Giant Mountain is one of the 46 High Peaks of the Adirondacks. Giants washbowl sits part way up this climb and provides incredible views east which are particularly specular in the early morning. On this fall day,, heavy fog and low clouds filled the valley and only began to break up as the sun rose. I sat and watched clouds funnel through the valley below me. They flowed above the single road leading to and from the Adirondacks and dissipated as they passed out in front of me, meeting the morning sun.
