Description
This image was captured in a slot canyon in northern Arizona. Many know the slot canyons in this region, one of the most famous is Antelope Canyon. This particular canyon was in a completely different system. Each canyon presents unique shapes that were carved by erosion over many years, but they all share commonality in the vibrant colors of the canyon walls. With walls so tall and the space in between so narrow, light only reaches in during certain times of the day and when it catches dust and sand in the air, it creates these shafts of light.
